We have developed a tableware series together with the imaginary manufactory in Berlin. The beautiful tableware from our restaurants can thus also enrich your set table at home – and with original Salt & Silver embossing on the back! All products are unique and handmade. We are especially proud of our cooperation with DIM:

DIM – “Die Imaginäre Manufaktur” started in 1998 as a joint project of the Berlin Institute for the Blind and the design office Vogt + Weizenegger. The idea was as simple as it was compelling: the designers created new products that were manufactured in workshops by blind and visually impaired people. Today, USE gGmbH carries Die Imaginäre Manufaktur. It has consistently continued and further developed the participatory approach.

DIM-Products are different from most products due to following facts:

  • Inclusive work
People with and without disabilities work together in the manufactories.
  • Local production
All DIM products are manufactured in the premises of USE gGmbH in Berlin and Brandenburg.
  • Handmade manufactory
Unlike mass-produced items, DIM products are made by traditional craftsmanship.
  • Meaningful and durable products
DIM stands for non-disposable products. Which basically means that DIM stand for goods that you can use frequently and for a long time because of their good quality and usefulness.
  • Clear design aspirations
DIM products convince and inspire through the harmonious interplay of form, material and function.
  • Low resource consumption
DIM products are predominantly manufactured from regional raw materials. Material and energy consumption is thus significantly lower than in industrial production.
